Exceptionally delicious dim sum but a really difficult seating process. The wait was about half an hour longer than was quoted and the waiting process (wound up waiting about an hour and a half) is a little stressful. You go upstairs to get a ticket (like deli numbers) and then they shout numbers inside the entryway only. You can’t leave your phone number and you can’t wait outside, you can only wait with the crowd inside.
But oh man, as soon as you get to your table and your food arrives, it’s worth the wait. So delicious! They bring out a few different sauces as well which is great. The dough of the dumplings is the perfect consistency. The fried dumplings are so deliciously crispy. The steamed dishes are perfectly soft without being chewy. Really bright flavors in everything. Good prices too.

Some reallyyyyy good dim sum. I’d recommend the brisket, tripe, short ribs, shrimp—-so much. Great value and tastes like a true China town dim sum place. Check this place out!

I understand why all the travel blogs, reviews and Trip Advisor recommended this restaurant. The food taste amazing, the service is really fast. It was a great experience and I recommend it. Be careful as the plates are huge! Good place to share few different meals to allow you to try as much as possible!

Great place for dim sum in Chicago Chinatown. We ordered a variety of dishes. All were tasty. Staff was helpful in assisting us with deciding on what to order. If you aren't familiar with dim sum, it's similar to tapas, snacks, or small bites. You will need to order several so all parties will be able to have enough to eat. We ordered a variety of buns, dumplings, rolls, chops, and other bites. All were delicious. I recommend trying this place out if you visit Chicago Chinatown.

So delicious! We went to this restaurant years ago on a Chinatown food tour and went again recently for lunch. Great dim sum, super friendly staff, and an overall great experience. Highly recommend! The BBQ pork buns and piggy custard buns were amazing!

This placed seemed like a bit of a hole in the wall, but it was really nice! The entryway is beautiful, and there is a walk up a staircase to get to the eating area. We were able to get a table immediately despite it being a decently busy day which was a huge change from the dim sum places in Chinatown square. The food was pretty decently priced and most of it was fantastic, although I definitely liked some more than others. My friend, who frequently eats dim sum, considers this place just average in taste but I fully enjoyed everything I had. The wait staff is pretty attentive and kind.

Really enjoyed the dim sum. We ordered about 12 different plates to share among 6 of us and it was just the right amount of food. The Baos are excellent. Also enjoyed everything else. Favorite was the chicken soup dumpling. Great egg rolls.

This restaurant was my first time trying Chinese food back in 2017. I went again after 5 years and I wasn't really impressed. It's located in China town, it's spacious restaurant with huge round tables for bigger parties. We started with sampler plate, there was crab rangoon, pot stickers, egg roll and shrimp toast. Everything was ok but very greasy and heavy, so I just had a bit of everything. For entrees, Sizzling beef short rib was great presentation, steamy on iron plate, veggies were super fresh and tasty, meat and sauce were great as well. Mongolian beef was the best dish on the table, very tender and seasoned perfectly. Fried rice wasn't anything special, same goes for Salt and Pepper Squid, not salty enough & not crispy enough. Not the bad place for food, it's more of an experience, but there are way better tastier places for Chinese food.

This place is awesome. We decided to go to this place because we asked a local Chinese auntie and she told us that this is the best dim sum place. 大三元 in Chinese. The amount of food they serve are much more than other Chinese Dim Sum places and also much cheaper. I would recommend everyone to go there. The food is so delicious. We ordered too much and we end up being too full. I really like the stir fried turnip cake & the beef honeycomb.

The best Dim sum! every time I am in Chicago I have to eat here at least twice. the buns are perfect and sweet. the duck is cooked to perfection. the skin is crunchy and full of flavor. Occasionally there will be a wait but it is worth it.
